Our Story

If you’re new here, we’re Vic and Adrienne. If you know me personally, then you know me by my childhood nickname, Ady.

I grew up in the middle of addiction, mental illness, instability, and loss. Those realities shaped my childhood and required me to grow up early - learning responsibility, self-reliance, and resilience long before I should have had to. Along the way, I experienced loss in ways that leave permanent marks, including losing family to addiction and suicide.

Those experiences don't define my ending - but they did forge my foundation.

From them came grit, empathy, faith, and an unshakable belief that you can come from hard places and still build something meaningful while staying humble. Life doesn’t hand you a roadmap. You learn by doing, by failing forward, and by choosing to keep going when things don’t make sense. But I’ve messed up, fixed it, learned again, and kept going. That mindset carried me through motherhood and into spaces I once never imagined I’d belong.

Vic and I come from very different backgrounds. Our experiences shaped us in different ways, but they brought us to the same understanding: growth requires courage, faith, and the willingness to pivot when needed. Together, we’re learning to move past fear - fear of failure, fear of not being enough, fear of needing approval - and instead build a life rooted in integrity, discipline, and purpose.

Three Bars Western Co. reflects us individually and together - we're not perfect, but we do persevere.

We both work full-time jobs. Then we come home and we work some more. Over the years, we've built a photography business, we tried our hand at a personal merch branding mark (just didn’t have the outreach feel and intent), so we pivoted, and now building out Three Bars Western Co. with intention, purpose and connection.

Horses entered my life later than expected, but exactly when they were needed. They brought calm, clarity, and grounding in ways words can’t fully explain. Through them, I found connection, presence, and perspective.

When we discovered that Boone & Diesel traced back to the lineage of the AQHA Hall of Fame "Three Bars", the name felt deeply symbolic. His story - rocky beginnings, a shift in purpose, and a legacy built through resilience - this mirrors the belief that where you start doesn’t dictate where you finish.

Why we’re here. Three Bars Western Co. exists for people who know what it means to survive - and then choose to live with intention. For first-generation dreamers. For those starting something new or picking something back up after fear held them back.
